Pet Peeves

What did we learn Dorothy?View attachment 2987260
The sad thing is that there doesn't seem to be any learning happening. Doors and gates just keep being left open. I have to take time and teach the animals not to take advantage of an open gate or door.
The way to do that is leave the gate or door open and stretch an almost invisible hot wire across it and let them walk into it. It seems mean, but it works.
They are also taught that if I lead them through it's okay.

Don't you wish humans were more sophisticated learners than farm animals.
(Or that we wouldn't be prosecuted for having to teach them the same way.)

Caution: Old guy learning about first generation memes. He'll get tired of it soon.

I ABSOLUTELY (CAPS FOR EMPHASIS) hate stuff sticking to my fingers. I can make do if I am in a project, but like yourself I wash my hands while in the project, almost excessively.
I make resin tumblers, and getting that stuff on your fingers is ABSOLUTE HELL😫 it doesn’t come offf at all until you scrub with baking soda.

protip: Lava soap or fast orange hand cleaner. Put the power of pumice to work for you!

Source: I make 'em too.
