Pet Peeves

Pet peeve......
When you hire someone to work for you and after you instruct them on what to do you get this response is.......
"So what is it you do all day?" I almost had a complete melt down on the guy. He no longer works for me. After so called working for a week I had to let him go.

I have the opposite problem. My boss asks me that but I give her a run down every day plus a weekly report... and I still get that question. Least the work gets done, lol.

Freak him out walk up to him and say " stop just stop doing this in the office"

Trust me, I bite my tongue on the regular, and it probably would end up coming out of my mouth with completely different verbiage

I can see a boss asking employees what they have done. It is part of the bosses job to have knowledge of all aspecs of the day. However it is NOT the employees job to question an employer what they (the employer) does all day. Especially on the first day after they receive their job duties.

Maybe they don't have the same belief that you have.

I have friends and relatives that are seriously offended if someone says "bless you" after they sneeze. I think it can be a matter of choice and neither way necessarily needs to be offensive.

My sister-in-law was puzzled at my classical music choices because a lot of it "doesn't have words".

There was a CD I got from my girlfriend’s brother back in the early 90s. Not sure when it was actually made. It was called Classical Music for People Who Hate Classical Music. It was the best! Lots of music from Bugs Bunny and music that you heard all your life but never really paid it any attention. I wish I still had it.
