My mom gifted each of us girls(there are 6 of us) laundry hampers on our high school graduation. Said we were finally trusted to do our own laundry

I know the feeling. My husband is an incredibly capable man... he can build an entire house from the dirt up, of course he can do laundry. The problem is I've seen what his idea of "doing laundry" amounts to. As family superintendent of laundry, well... I fired him.

I have to give him credit though. He always helps fold when he's around and I bring up a load. He's still 100% keeper. ❤

My husband is the same way. Jack of all trades, master of them all. Except domestic things. That's my turf and I'm very ok with that. I just like to whine about it sometimes too

I read a quote somewhere:
"The key to a happy relationship is choosing someone whose chore preferences compliment your own."
...I know it was meant as a joke, but that comfortable balance really is priceless.

THIS! I've come so many people who tell me how to do my art and they are less... errrr... skilled or have no talent at all. And it's not just a suggestion of something like color. Hun, I've been drawing for as long as I've Been able to scribble AND I'm a professional artist. I know what I'm doing...

Draw a picture showing what you just described and give it to them. Full visible proof of their...uhh...lack of discernment. Might be a waste of time though.

Feel the same way you do. I am also a professional artist. I don't mind other artists opinions if they're a professional. Though I've only ran into a few professional artists that think they're "hot snot". They can't handle other's opinions and will downgrade your work.

Is it possible to draw a picture depicting hot snot?

We're all hypocrites to an extent, it's a social survival skill.

Honesty would look like this:
Do these pants make me look fat?
No. Your fat makes you look fat.

Hypocrisy keeps us from killing each other.

Hypocrisy isn't telling white lies. Its criticizing people for their actions, but then doing the same thing.

In our household things have been a roll reversal since early on…. More later if need be, I’m behind schedule… awoke late, alarms were set but, not “activated.” My fault.

And this is why I never criticize other's art. We all create in our own way, and it drives me bonkers when people say "oh that's easy and anyone can do it.", or "I bet I can do better than that"

flip flop shower shoes in public like they are actual shoes. They are for beach and public showers. And it causes another peeve the sloppysliding foot scraping walk that comes with them. or the flop flop of them hitting the heels if they are gripped with the toes instead of slide walking. I"m sure there are otherrs I just canj't think of them until I"m peeved LOL
