Pet Peeves

Wifey has had luck with Madewell brand. She's a retired gymnast and still built like a beast, so normal petit jeans are a joke. The madewells though seem to be comfortable and have sizing to suit her short inseam and her curves. They're spendy though, sadly. :(
EBay!!!
Madewell is such good quality.

Petite size clothing.
I know there are petite people out there and petite clothing are the only clothing that fits.. great! This is for people who are petite in height but may not be petite ;)
I have given up on the petite clothing. Companies think a large petite in shirts is wider not longer? Don't need a belly shirt, thank you very much. Or the pants.. the say the are the same size as normal height women but in reality they're 2-3x smaller in the waist.
Needless to say I've become the tailor. I hem nearly EVERY pair of jeans or slacks and buy normal shirt sizes since they get the length correct and maybe talior those too. I hate clothing companies.
I am with you! Amen. It sucks to find jeans. I have to hem jeans and I kid not I know how to sew dresses etc and I hate hemming. Haven't had time for sewing much. I'm 5 1 1/2 exactly. Ok maxi dress? Seriously...is it supposed to have a train behind it..it's hard to find heels taller than 6 inches! And ya know what..I ain't skinny anymore neither..lol. I think I loathe clothes shopping..ah gee, pass the stretch pants. At least in the summer I don't have to worry about jeans being a foot to long..hello shorts..and I will just live in the tank top.

I agree. And when you buy two pair of jeans, exact same size and cut, only difference is the shade of denim. AND THEY DON'T FIT THE SAME. One is too small and the other is just right
