Pet Peeves

After I ponder it a bit, I believe the ranting and raving to myself may be more inline with passive than hitting the brakes which would be more inline with straight out aggression.
Hmmmm I do not know what exactly that says, other than I may be putting too much thought into this.
I try to leave the lane open for people in a hurry. (It's usually me and I don't want to second guess why they need to get there quickly.)
I may tap the horn or lights if someone is blocking traffic. Over half the time lately it's someone on the phone. (A little situational awareness please?)
And I've been known to rant to myself but it scares the family so I try not to. I can let it pass quickly but they don't realize that.
(And if I DON"T take a deep breath and let it pass, I can get so worked up that I've gotten into accidents.)

Just about everyone here is packing, so the road rage can get out of hand real quick and does a fair amount of the time. It can turn into the OK Corral really fast.

There is this stretch of highway that I travel frequently and it is hard to pass because it is a curvy heavily traveled 2 lane state highway. In roughly 22 mile of highway between 2 towns there is always at least 1, and sometimes multiple, State Troopers. I try my best to let the tailgaters by and usually get my reward later when I pass them while they are pulled over on the side of the highway with the blue lights.

I am a lot of times pushed for time myself and got caught once and it cost me almost $300 and an insurance increase for a little while. You are not going to catch me sucking eggs twice as the saying goes. I just try to leave earlier.

Drove my oldie but goodie RV across Canada. I knew when I was holding up traffic and always pulled over as soon as possible to let everyone pass. On one long hill, I had a guy on a bike pass me. Actually got a speeding ticket coming down a mountain. I was sort of proud of my RV for that and laughed when the police gave me a ticket. That given, it was even more annoying, and dangerous, to be tail-gating a large vehicle. Like the bumper sticker I saw on a transport said "If you can't see my mirrors, I can't see you."

I do, mostly word of mouth. I don't have a website or anything at this point though. Mostly because setting one up to MY standards takes more time than just slapping one together, and it's time I haven't had to put into it. :p I can send you a PM with a link to my gallery and insta if you'd like to look
It would be fun to look and admire, but you must understand I'm not a buyer, sadly.

Blocking traffic by going stated speed limit or by actually going far slower than the limit

The left lane is a passing lane. If you're not passing anything, please stay in the right lane so others can pass you. I guess this is a peeve, but its's really more than that, it's a terror: when I've passed a big rig, already doing over the limit a bit, and someone comes barreling up behind me. I'll get back in the right lane as soon as it's safe to do so, and I have my signal on, and Yahoo behind me zips into the gap between me and the semi, passing me on the right as I'm preparing to move over there. Scares the snot out of me! Could kill himself, me, the semi and anybody else nearby.
