Pet Peeves

There is an option to be locked out of a thread. Maybe that would help.
If you stop responding to alerts on any thread - stop visiting the thread, for example- you will stop getting alerts and it will soon disappear from your view. šŸ˜‰

It may disappear from your notifications but it doesn't disappear.
If you click what's new, the forums main page or the rambling section it could be right there.
There's no way to hide it or make it disappear but if you get locked out of it you can't reply so that will keep you from participating in it if you don't have self control.
