This morning's peeve...

6am...Huge dump trucks speeding down the gravel road, all the way down our gravel driveway into the very back by our barn, realizing Google directions has taken them to the wrong place, then proceeding to turn around, not staying on gravel, trenching the yard, before speeding back outta here, kicking up dust & gravel the whole way because gravel roads are not intended for speeding. Thanks alot dudes, my aching spine will think of you when I mow over those trenches, not to mention the gravel I have to pick out of grass now.

My aching back disagrees this morning

Sopping Wet clothes are surprisingly heavy...I'd rather deal with 5 gal buckets of manure & 50lb bags of feed than repeatedly hauling smaller buckets of water out of a washing machine again.

A long chain studded with nails tied between two trees at tire level at the bottom of your driveway will put an end to that right quick. I, myself, have threatened to string up mine.

Driver: "We could die if you put that up!"
Me: "And we could end up with a driver that was not born brain dead. Win-win." shakes chain "So how do you wish to proceed?"
