People that whine on facebook about how we serve our school lunches. Ok, first of all, you can pack your kids' lunches if they don't like what we serve. Second of all, if YOU, as a parent, have issues with us, call the food service administrator and talk to her. Saying something, anonymously, on facebook gets you nowhere. Have some balls and say something to the school. No wonder your kids are pansies, you taught them that

I had no idea it had a name! and was still around! when I was in school I'd be trading people stuff for their slices.

They sell them boxed in most grocery stores. They are Ellio's brand.

We do but they aren't real popular. Remember, the USDA regulates everything we can serve the kids. No normal pizzas anymore, everything has to be whole grain, and a certain amount of sodium and fat. Tasteless, processed, and full of bad carbs must also be a requirement because that's all we are approved to serve

I still buy them occasionally. I hate Digiornos or however it's spelled. And Ellio's are easy to eat when my jaw gets inflamed.

Oh that sounds terrible. We defintely didn't have this version of it.

I was in a school that had both student cafeterias (regulated) and a teacher cafeteria (not). Those lunch ladies made some very good food when they were allowed free rein! I often feel sorry for them and the kids. They would rather really cook, and the kids would rather good food.
