Pet Peeves

1. I'm peeved that I put a pet peeve in Things you wish you could say and not here.

2. I'm peeved that my system's autocorrect wants me to change the above "here" to "hear". Truly superior technology at work here hear.

3. Raisin Bran has no business containing 18 grams of sugar per cup when it tastes like cardboard with raisins.
It's the raisins. They contain an amazing amount of sugar

Raisins are grapes, concrntrated though.
Exactly. Though I imagine grapes are lower sugar because of the water content? Probably not as nutrient dense.
Raisin Bran Crunch is superior LOL
And would you look at that... Crunch has a similar amount of sugar at 19 grams. I can't believe they tricked me like that. Raisin Bran, you have some explainin' to do! :rant

Yeah they tricked me too. I always thought it was healthier than, say, Apple Jacks, or Froot Loops, or something, but it actually has like double the sugar LOL

I had to look this up, and omg, you're right! What is going on??? I'm going to try having just basic Cheerios. How bad can it be. Babies like them, right?

But the raisins provide vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
Good point. Iron too, I guess? Who knew.

To stay on topic, I'm peeved that raisins have a poor nutrient to sugar ratio.

And you are so welcome everyone, for the lively raisin discussion.

Yucky! LOL unless it’s honey nut.

True! But pretty much all foods are fortified with that stuff now LOL but natural is probably better.
