Welcome to BYC!

Definitely post in our pheasants section. I do believe this can be done. I have worked with quail in the past and had lap trained them when I pat on my lap. They even learned their names and are clicker trained. Pheasants being much larger brained should be able to learn all kinds of things.

Good luck with your birds and welcome to our flock!

I don't have them yet I get them this week they will be a couple days old gander007

Well wash your hands before and after handling them and after they are a week old or so start hand feeding them with some mashed up hard boiled egg's and have plenty of Probiotic in the water for them to drink ....

The young Pheasants need you to imprint on them so you will be starting off at the correct age .....

Welcome to BYC - Ringnecks can be tough. Even pen raised birds generally retain their wild instincts. Training them with feed is your only chance - good luck.
