Pet-sitting for the Neighbors "Foodchain"

2 Arabian mares, 1 Australian shepherd, 2 bettas, one pond of fish, 1 cat, approximately 50 chickens of all ages(mine)

2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 betta, 2 chickens (my daughter's)

5 gold fish, 1 bubble molly, 4 bubble molly babies, 1 pleco, 1 rabbit (my son's)

1 Siberian husky (my room mate's)

1 Miniature Pinscher (my boyfriend's)

2 ducks that visit to play in the fish pond in front yard

hummingbirds that I feed

The guys at the feed store love to see me coming !

689 cows - we consider them pets with benefits (like the chickens)
126 calves on farm at the moment that need feeding twice a day.

soon to have 3 lambs to raise for pet day at school

will have the pig in the freezer by the end of next week - so shes not really a pet anymore

1 dog, getting a puppy next saturday, 1 cat, 4 rabbits, 9 rats, I don't even know how many mice, a ribbon snake, ~20 leopard geckos, 2 mediterranean geckos, 6 serama chickens, 2 call ducks (getting 3 more soon), and 7 aquariums.

Whistling Tree Ducks who show up at dawn and dusk to eat, bathe, walk around amongst my ducks and geese and then fly away home...it started with 2 and now they have brought all their relatives...

Well. We have 6 dogs, 1 cat, 10 chickens. (At dads we have 2 dogs and fishys)

WE USED TO HAVE: 13 dogs, 4 cats 17 chickens, 2 geese, 3 goats, 26 rats, about 30 mice, 2 ferrets, an iguana that we petsitted and then they called and said they decided they didn't want him back ugh.

I have to say I'm glad we downsized. The dogs were because my dog had 4 puppies. She was ran over after we rehomed the pups, I think she went looking for them

Then my brother sold his pit bull terriers that he was going to breed. The cats were just wild ones that ate with our male. The mice and rats died out this year. The last one died 2 weeks ago. The ferrets I don't know what happened to them... I think brother gave to friends. The iguana was on CL for about 2 week until rehomed

We went away a few months ago and had a sitter watch our critters

The numbers have changed a bit..

AMAZING! There are lots and lots of animal lovers here! I think it's WONDERFUL!

We have:

1 California King snake (my son's)
several fire bellied toads (son's)
1 Egyptian spiny mouse (son's)
1 giant millipede (son's)
?? hissing cockroaches (son's)

Sooo...I'd have to say we have a food chain thing goin' on over here too!!!
