I think the little girl told Memphis she couldn't have one because she baked a worm into each cookie just special for Daisy.

That would make sense. The treats I bake for my birds are both wormy AND seedy.

Ok....the cookie is still intact. I haven't eaten it. Pressure is starting to get to me...I'm still debating if my pudgy middle age hen needs a cookie! But on the other hand....she is a spoiled, entitled diva of a turkey....so why not? I'm beginning to think maybe we share the last cookie.

In honor of Daisy, I gave my hens a home-baked oatmeal date cookie today. Told them to be thankful for their Christmas treat. They loved it!
