I do not agree with all the practices in industrial agriculture or even the though of industrial agriculture itself. I do agree that most agricultural practices are alright the bad ones should be weeded out but the whole agriculture industry should not take the fall for it.

I grew up on a beef cattle farm. My mom and my grandparents were wonderful t them. I think she's referring to the abuse going on in big corporate operations. I am totally on board. I want the world to know the sad story of the poor mutated cornish x. My son picked one as a pet. He will probably have a heart attack or his legs collapse under him because of morbid obesity. The birds have been genetically engineered to grow so fast that their bodies cant take it and they die whether slaughtered or not. I love poor BoBo. I'm trying to quit eating chicken because of what I've learned. I've made it a whole week so far! And by the way I would LOVE to be on Oprah, so would my mom.

Why not raise your own meat or buy it from local identifiable sources, rather than giving it up? That way you can ensure the continuance of heritage breeds, and sustain the local economy.

I agree that industral ag is bad and I am all for sustainbility but I believe that we should advocate for that and not the whole go vegetarian view I actually would love to work in sustaible agriculture one day. + What Cara said !!!!!!

Thats exactly what I mean. I know there are places that treat their animals great before killing them but there are so many places that don't.

How else is Mcdonalds, KFC, Burger King, ect. able to produce millions of burgers and such a day. They exist to make money and to do so that must make the meat the cheapest way possible and in that the animals wellbeing is not thought of.

I just wish I could do more for them.
