Pheasant chat and hatch-a-long!!!

Pics
I should know genders on 3 chicks currently in grow-out in a few more weeks and I just set another dozen eggs.
The 2 remaining hens should give me a few more fertile eggs over the next couple weeks after he’s gone that I can choose to set.
Hopefully i will end up with 6-8 heathy hens and can choose 1 cockbird to give me fertile eggs next year with extras in the freezer

Been hatching out mainly Yellow Goldens, trying to see if I get anymore of the mutations I got last year from the same parent stock.

The base of the neck feathers are orange in color, not the greenish brown of a 'normal' Yellow Golden. Also the yellow back and saddle feathers only go half way up the back? Hasn't gotten any cape feathers yet but right now it seems they might be white when they come in.
Here's a pic of its sibling, same age, same parent stock. See the differences!

Also have been hatching out Peach Goldens, getting some funny colors from them too!!?
They should be a light grey color with faint to no stripes. I can't explain these colors either, except eventhough the parent stock looks 'pure' they may be Peach splash or ?, it's possible to get a splash from what looks like pure stock...the dark one has me really puzzled!

Definitely some interesting and diverse coloring! I can’t wait to see how they color out!

While we were gone, my hens laid 11 eggs in a little nest in the coop. I moved them all to the incubator yesterday 🙈
My other batch will be going into lockdown this weekend
I will candle these in a few days to see if any development in the nest before I moved them over

I’m not absolutely sure but it’s starting to appear that 3/4 chicks from EHAL are cockbirds 🙈 they’ve claimed the roof of the little hideaway to perch and hang out in the sunshine
The 4th is a ghost like previous chicks
