Hi guys.
I was wondering if you could eat pheasant eggs, we are considering buying some silver pheasants, if you can eat the eggs, then how often do they lay?
Thanks.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I'm afraid I don't keep pheasant but i see no reason why you can't eat them. Never had them before so I'm not sure what sort of taste they have. You could pop by the pheasant section of the forum. Here is the link ~https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/50/pheasants-and-partridge-chukar
I'm sure keepers there will be able to help you.

Wishing you the very best of luck and enjoy BYC :frow

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about Pheasants (never had any), but definitely post on our Pheasant link that Yorkshire coop left with you and take advantage of our Pheasant experts there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

Seems to me you could eat the eggs but I've never had them. The members on the link Yorkshire coop gave you should be able to give you the answers you need.

Thanks for joining us!
