Please don't break the egg!
There are experienced people who can help you. I would keep up on the warm water soaks and calcium. Someone will be along shortly to give you further advice.
Good luck.

Is a vet an option?

Breaking the egg is a last resort. If she were mine I would tube lots of fluids and give calcium gluconate and vitamin d. You can find the calcium gluconate in the cattle section of feed stores. I would also fill my bathroom with steam and let her sit in there for a few hours.

Do you want to learn how to tube?
