Pheasants just started laying! What should I expect?

Here's a couple of pics of a 1 month old male ring-necked. You can see it's wattles are starting to show up and turning from tan-ish gray to a pink color, later they will be crimson. Sorry for the double post, im new at this new way of doing this.

There are a few circumstances where males won't kill each other off if kept together but it's tricky and not something to try if you're newer to pheasants. Some species are worse about it than others.
