Ah, okay. I'll probably make a small project in spring and just see what I get. My male won't be old enough to breed til winter and I can't keep babies outside in the winter here

As of right now eggs are hatching we are on day 21, so far only one Black Swedish. Flower Fairy the Phoenix eggs are hatching great, there are lots of little Phoenixes. I will have a head count latter this afternoon.

Where did you ordered your eggs?

Did you ever get any pictures of the cross!?

These are the only pics I can find right now, blue fibro pullet with a typical cockerel, and an awful blue cockerel (reminds me of a Mosaic). I never went further than f2. Looking back, a silver birchen Phoenix would have been a better option to use.

Well they certainly were beautiful, I've never had a blue fibro myself but I'm in the process of making some myself. I put two black fibro hens in with a splash rooster, so I should get blue fibros!

Just out of curiosity how were their tails?

Definitely takes more time to get decent tails. They were way too high and not much length at all. I used standard silver and splash golden roosters, but the project would have been better with a silver non molter. They are more slim birds and could possibly produce better feathering I f2-f3
