We need a sticky of what pheasants look like as chicks and as adults to help identify different breeds. I am constantly trying to identify a chick. All Pheasant types welcome......And any tips you have on sexing or identifying them too. Try to get a good close pic of them...

Although not the best pic...............

I'll go first: Red Golden Pheasant

I have some of them in the incubator, ordered 12 received 14 and 11 are fertile and doing good (so far)

I do not have any baby pic's of my pheasants due to receiving them as adults, but here are the ones I have right now.

I have been looking into raising some Red golden pheasants and I have a few quick questions about the Red golden pheasants

What is the recommended hen to male ration like 1:1 or 3:1 ??

Because ive been looking in to RGP but i heard u need like 3 hens for 1 male and the only reason im getting them is for the male's great plumage

Also can you have like 2 males by them selves ,no females, if your not looking in to breeding or will they fight and not be happy

Can you riase them with your chicken hens in a covered run and coop if there is enough room

and any other helpful tips would be appreciated
