Hahaha! So what breeds do you have so far?

I only have RIR and half breeds native/RIR

and my new order Buff Orp, EE and Austrolops

Great Breeds! Perhaps we can do some chicken swap someday, just like what BYC members in the US are doing.

generally, after a few days, with enough hens, the heritage breed roosters settle down

due to the "sport" often practiced in the Philippines, local roosters are bred for aggression. This spills over to the landrace breeds.

i also keep a bachellor coop with no hens but 15-20 roosters - coop inasal. Back up roos and mix breed roos awaiting their turn for the freezer.

I hope my soon to be roos will not fight each other.

We are done with NCD vaccination,
I am planning to vaccinate our birds with Fowl Pox Vaccine as it is common for free range chickens. I am not sure how much the price of this vaccine.

Btw Oz, I asked D'Jade if they also sell fish meal but they said they are not selling.

Thats so sad, losing a chick is hard, try to separate those aggressive chicks.
