I have 11 native eggs in my incubator, I built it myself now i'm testing it they been in 6 days so I will candle them tomorrow, cant wait to see if they are ok.

Home made incubator sounds very interesting. I would like to try it also but the unexpected brown out.

The weather in our country are both extremes! They can be extremely cold or extremely hot!! I prefer the dry season though.

Hey, i'm excitd that you are getting new chickies!! My chicks are now 5 weeks olds and they are sooo adorable. I am happy that i finally got a rir pullet. Haha. Sad that i had to let go of my first rir roo. He was the loudest! My BOs are both pullets and my hubby named them caramel and almond.

Yes, I miss the little thing.  He is so cute.  The egg was from a light tan hen and red rooster native chickens.  Odd that he hatched out almost all black.

Im so excited for my rest day tomorrow. Yesterday we collected 18 duck eggs. I wonder how many eggs today. Hope they are doing well.

Duck eggs are the best for leche flan!

So i have collected a total of nine eggs from one of my pullets (Matcha) and my mom cooked them for our breakfast!!

The chickens are doing great. They are recovering from fowl pox. The 5 week old chicks are also fine. Blesse looks like a pullet. The leghorn looks like roo.

Haha I am planning to order cake from my aunt and use the duck eggs instead of chicken eggs.

Good job Matcha. If u have broody hen u could set the eggs. Lets see what color combination of the chicks.
