She's probably just scared still. You kidnapped her from all she's known. Give her a few weeks to get used to you and then have the talk.

Focus is good. It's a tad dark but not terrible. The dirt speck is a retouch issue, easy to fix. My biggest issue with it is that she's too close to the top edge of your shot. I can live with the left side, but she's crowded on top.

How does one retouch a photo and remove things? I’m totally new to this.

Healing brush or clone stamp in photoshop is how I do it. You need some kind of photo editing software.
