I have problems with that too. Like one time I was taking pictures of chicks and I accidentally hit super vivid and the pictures turned out awful!

Could you elaborate on the backgrounds of all but the one with the play house in it? What parts do you think are messy?

The mud is not very beautiful. What camera are you using? Maybe making the background blurry would help.

That is pretty normal for most of my pics. My chooks won't stand still for more then a few seconds and I have a sucky phone camera.

Most of my chickens love posing! Which is good! They have patience when I try to do a photo shoot for the most part.

My phone. An android. Do those come with an option to blur the background? I haven't seen any on mine.

That’s better than my phone atm. I’ve literally had it for a month and the cam is not working. Ack

Again the color just looks way too fake for me.
I don't know what the proper term is called but something's not right.

"Oversaturated" is the word you're looking for. There is a saturation slider in pretty much all photo apps on mobile, and it allows you to push the color intensity up to the point where it can look artificial. This photo is oversaturated.
