My phone. An android. Do those come with an option to blur the background? I haven't seen any on mine.

I think so. My old phone (Android) did have that option

This is a picture I took last night of two of my Sebright girls. The background is one of my coops with a tarp over the run to keep them cool. Bad background but at least its clear.

Compositionally, this should feature the whole bun and not this 3/4 crop OR you should square crop it down to be head and shoulder. It's a little of a "not enough" or "too much" with the way the bun is posed in this shot. Focus is OK, visually it's not terribly interesting, but not every image is full of excitement. I would definitely find a more interesting backdrop. Even a colored sheet or fabric behind would help. Plain white walls are OK for driver's license photos, but that's about it.

I don't love the light coming through the trees in the top right corner. It takes focus away from the chicken. The chicken doesn't seem to be in focus either. Also, maybe get rid of that black chicken on the right.
