Personally I think it's cropped too close and there's not enough contrast or sharpness in it to define the feather textures. Those are subjective preferences though.

Nice lighting and sharpness! I must say though I think bringing up the exposure in post-processing would look good. The background is a tad distracting, and also I think it would look better to have more room in front of his face.
