What can you do with this? View attachment 3160390

I lightened her up a bit, darken & blurred the background a tad.

Also, you can get by with a slightly blurry image in a small format, like a cell phone screen or a 4x6. But on a larger screen you can see the blur. In my experience.
I've noticed that too.

Maybe we should do one of those, that might be fun!
I love the idea!
Orpingtons are definitely that. I just much prefer all the other colors of orpingtons. I find the buff color disgusting. And it’s super popular and all anyone talks about is buff orpingtons. You certainly don’t hear about anyother colors nearly as frequently.

Though I’ve found bantam cochins to be way friendlier than orpingtons, so when choosing a fluffy bird they’ll always be my first choice.
Some call Buff Orpingtons the Golden Retriever of the chicken world.
OH Maaaaaaaaan .... bummer. I'm totally deflated. UGH 😧
There is a special chicken breed that does have blue eyes, even as an adult. Unfortunately, I saw that in a chicken magazine years ago and can't remember what the breed was called. I think it looked similar to an Iowa Blue, but wasn't one.

In terms of coloring I guess. But any buff bird can do the same thing. Personally I’m far more fond of buff bantam cochins. They have the sweet cuddly personality of a golden, AND the color.

You know what Buff I don't like.... Buff Rocks. Why? Because at a glance, they look like a Buff Orpington. How could one tell the difference?

(In actually, feet first. Then body shape apart from a Hatchery Buff Orpington. But anyways.)
