Will Nikon clean a sensor? Because the family camera has a spot on the sensor that won't go away.

what model is it. Some have built-in sensor cleaners actually.

D3300. As far as I can remember it's got a built in sensor cleaning mode and everything but it's never removed the spot.

I had a camera that no amount of cleaning would remove a couple of spots. Turned out they were on the sensor itself behind the protective cover.

Fortunately it was in warranty and they replaced the sensor unit.

Cool! I have the D3500. We basically have the same camera! Mine has a built in cleaner I believe (if that helps at all)

I think we've tried to have it fixed to no avail. I think I remember there being lots of weird stuff going on with that warranty.

I personally think it looks a bit better cropped like this as I feel it puts a better focus on the flower and bee but do what you think looks best as your opinion is what matters most
