My chick was hatched in 04/09 and she lost her back feathers about 2 weeks ago and had an injury on her wing. I assumed she rubbed them on the chain link or that the other chicks pulled them out and caused the injury. There is also another chick with the back feathers missing but with no injury. I put blue coat on their bare backs and on her wing injury and she seemed to be doing fine until this morning...she is dead.
Do I have a disease in my coop?
I have 35 chicks from the same hatch all in an outdoor coop. They are in a separate location from the adults and are protected from weather.
For the last 3 to 4 weeks I have been feeding cracked corn. Prior to that, I was feeding chick starter.
I am not sure what to do and I need feedback as to whether I should worry or not.

It kind of looks to me like she was picked on. I had one that looked like that and the others killed her. Good luck, i'm sure someone will help you. I'm sorry about your chick.

Looks like she was picked on, or maybe got an infection from the wound caused by the fence.

Chickens cant be fed only cracked corn. You should either be feeding them layer, or flock raiser pellets. You can give them some corn as a treat but it shouldnt make up 100% of their diet.

Correct, cracked corn is nowhere near a complete diet.

How big is the area that the 35 chicks live in?

I would suggest you go to index, then FAQ, and read the threads about chicken care.
