They are a cross between a Road Island Red and a Buff Orpington Rooster. I stopped incubating all the eggs except the Buff orpingtons. We are going to let the rest just kind of stop were they are. My kids want to take the Buff Orpintons to show in 4- H so I sit out side every morning and get my 2 buff Orpington eggs every morning to incubate. And the rest of the eggs I collect to eat. It is a lot of trouble but until we get the pen built for the Orpingtons it is just something I have to do.

I watch and only incubate the eggs if i am out there when the hen lays the egg and i mark them so I know which egg is what.
