My first attempt at growing something indoors :

White fluff - she's one of our favorites and always poses for us. LOL

​

Our 3 legged pitbull next to my old horse who's been rescued twice. We are working hard on fattening her up, but she's proven to be a fairly hard keeper, despite being dewormed and her teeth floated.

My oldest helped me get the snake out from under my desk that the cats cornered... inside. my. house. luckily, it was a non poisonous snake, so it was allowed to live

What breed is White Fluff??

She's a smooth coated Cochin (they make them in frizzy version too), or that's what I assume she is. LOL

She's' one of my best egg layers so far too - which they aren't known for laying every day, but she's been pretty faithful for us since she started laying. haha!

And yes, that picture was taken in Nevada - where we used to live. Where we live now - we are more likely to get pictures of snakes, tarantulas, and wild hogs.

i am giving up on sending those photos. the stupid computer isn't letting me. i will send some others i took recently soon.

The best way to take photos of your chickens is to sit down on the ground. Let them come to you. They'll be curious about your camera and you can sometimes get the most awesome pics doing this. Also, you'll see that some of the chicken images are altered with Photoshop to create more of a painting or sketch effect. Plus you can really pop that color!!!

Oh, and the photograph of the white silkie sitting on top of a baby duck is the real thing. My neighbor's grandson brought me an abandoned duck egg and I put it underneath my broody silkie. 30 days later, this is what I saw!! Hope you enjoy!
