Ok I was just wondering. One of my chickens had cancer, and we are lucky enough to have an exotics vet nearby. We started to try the surgery, but it went wrong and she passed. My chickens are like dogs, they are so close to us.
Most common causes of cancer in chickens is, Marek's Disease, or Reproductive Cancer.
What is Reproductive cancer?
Chickens, or any other bird are very sensitive to anaesthesia, & most often die during surgery.
I know. We had no choice but to try.
She was ok, and then she had a seizure.
They tried CPR and a breathing tube but she was already gone.
Cancer in the reproductive tract. I'm not very great with cancer, it would be kind of hard to explain.
Not a seizure. Those were the death throws that chickens do once they die.
She was a Rhode Island Red. She layed no eggs and then went crazy
