PIC HEAVY! Serama/Silkie Show....

I'm 100% bred born and raised Cajun! I learned to dance on my grandmothers feet when I was four. And my mother tells me the old lady that babysat me when I was an infant would dance with me on her shoulder to put me to sleep. I love cajun french and zydeco music!

That's how we used to put my 17 year old daughter to sleep when she was a baby and was cranky. We'd take a ride in the car and put on some Wayne Toups-way back when his music was true Cajun- and she'd go right to sleep. Worked every time..................lol

You'll probably remember this. I learned to dance at the old Belizaires in Crowley.

D.L. Menards "The Back Door" is my absolute favorite!

Ha! I so used to go there! Too funny.............It's a Mexican restaurant now-about 10 minutes from my house.

The birds were gorgeous as always

I love the look of those ancient trees.

It looks like you had a great time all around.

We had a WONDERFUL time, despite all the troubles. And those trees ARE ancient, WELL over 100 years old.

Did y'all realize that THOSE trees were the same ones filmed for the movie "Gone With The Wind"?
