When the lake gets over 85* it's a bit gross...but it's better than a frosty drink, which I would never choose even with a wetsuit! Besides...I don't think I'd like feeling like a snausage. That takes away half the fun of being in the water!

awesome~~~ i tried that once before up in new hampshire.... water was freezing cold. luckily i didnt fall out. i closed my eyes most of the time. lol!!!!!!

My DD and I did white water rafting in Idaho a few years ago, We loved it!! It was summer so the water wasnt toooo freezing.
At one point this huge whirlpool opened up on my side of the raft and I was certain we were goners! I was paddling and screaming at the same time!
