Pic of the new dog im thinking of getting

i meet them last night i liked her im just not sure i liked how she acted with my 1 year old she kind of coward from him. After seeing the comments on hear and thinking about it she all i want but not what the family needs so i think i will have to let her find a home else where if only my kids where older. I told the lady i would help her find the dog a home. Im posting about her in the buy sell trade fourm. thanks for the comments about her im worried if she gets to attached to me she might hurt the kids after looking into the breed though i will be looking for a rescue aussie later on when the kids are older maybe in school

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

I have an Aussie Shephard mix who loves everyone. She might be dangerous to kids only because she would be TOO excited and jump and kiss them to death. She is a bit hyper but not at all aggressive- though the hyperness can be a drawback too!

On the other note I foster dogs, it takes dogs at LEAST 2-3 weeks to show their true personality. Just because this dog was scared with your child now doesn't mean in a few weeks they won't get along fine. Just always supervise for a LONG LONG time. It is possibly the dog just hasn't been socialized around children and doesn't know what "it" (your child) is. Babies and toddlers can be scary with all their noise and racket if you aren't familar with it.

Whatever you decide, it is the right choice, just thought I would throw that out there. As an Aussie Shepherd that dog shouldn't have a huge problem getting adopted but right now the economy is making it hard to adopt out dogs. The rescue I am working with his having a lot of problems at the moment.
