I have a 5 week old dark Brahma chick that has been getting picked on. I separated her, but she can still see/hear the other chicks. Today she seems better, but I am wondering if I need to do anything else for her. I am posting some pics of her. I am a newbie to the world of chickens and so naturally, I worry.

The other birds plucked out her tail fluff. Yesterday, it was a little bloody, but it has healed some. They chase her around and peck at her and she just runs to you to pick her up. She was never really a super friendly bird until yesterday when she was calling me for help.

Poor thing! Is she the only one that gets picked on??

Yes, she is the only one getting picked on. But they are slow growers, so she is like half the size of the other chicks. They have lots of room, so I don't think space is a problem. The coop is 80 sq.ft and the run is 400 sq.ft.

Where do you get Blu-kote?

What breed are the other chicks? Some breed tend to be more aggressive and if she is kind of a runt, then that might be why she is getting picked on so much.

One of my polish has a deformed beak, it isn't like scissor beak, her beak just doesnt close all the way. I figured she probably isn't the bully, so I put her in the separate area with the brahma for company.
