anyone know what breed this chicken is that my husband picked up at auction today?

Hard to say without see the legs, but some variety of Red Production pullet.

She's a Production Red. You should get lots of large, brown eggs from her. )

thank you! Here Are the legs too. My husband came home with two of them today. We were hoping they would be a good addition and produce lots of eggs!

Production Red. I'm not positive "she" is a pullet, though, since the comb/wattles are a little red/developed.

Looks like a Production Red. Depending on the age, "she" may or may not be a pullet.
