Well, there's many varieties of Asil chicken.Well, I also like Aseel breed, too! The 'real' ones are truly unique with their long legs and upright stance. I always wanted a few but I will need to do some research on what they need to thrive.
They are pretty funny.Personally, I like the crow of the laughing chickens. Pretty hilarious!
I'll have to check my standard of Perfection. I seem to have forgotten Asils have a standard. Either way, I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to breeds. Some people like them a certain way, but I'm more easy going, & let each be an individual of how they look.By real I mean one that actually meets the standard of the breed. A few around here look like typical game stock-at least the ones I looked at. Though there have been a few that have met the standards: tall, leggy, lots of neck and that fierce look in the face. Let us know what you decide for your Dad.
There's a breeder in Tenessee with some. So that shouldn't be too hard on eggs or chicks for shipping.Ayam Ketawas seem to be the winner for now. But I'll leave the poll open for those who still wanna vote.
