Hey so I would like to get a good cheap coop for Japanese quails and other type of quails. I would also like it to be big enough for chickens in case one day I ever get chickens.
So dose anyone know any good ones I could try also easy to clean out.
Thanks.

Whats your plans?? You plan for them to live in this Coop most of the time or just roost in it at night---Eat, drink, lay eggs outside in another area??

I don't really mind but they would definitely be in there at night
That's your Call?? You asked a question, but gave no details on your plans, Did not mention how many you will have or how many chickens you might have------its Kinda like asking----"how much gas will it take to get where I want to go"? We have no Idea how far you want to go?? You plan to have 10 quail, 50, 100?? How about chickens?? Will they stay inside most of the time or outside all the time except when roosting?? Sorry

Well

well I'd like to have around 10-15 quail and I'd have them inside at night as I already said. Id have a Big run where they have lots of room to walk about. I've never had a coop before so I don't know a lot about them. My nan was just randomly like if your quails get two big then we will have to have them outside so I'm just after a nice cheap coop btw I have a big garden.

I think for quail the general rule is 1 sq ft per bird. They aren't like chickens and don't roost, they huddle together. For chickens you'd need 4sq ft of coop space and 10 sq ft of run per bird, and you cannot keep quail and chickens together.
