Pickup day - meyers

We are picking up our chicks at meyers next month. We live about 2 hours away. Transporting in our minivan with our 2 kids. We will have the brooder all set up at home. What do I need to bring with me to get them? Will they be okay for that long without a heat source? I know they dont need water or food until they get home. I just want to minimize stress to the babies.

I've picked up from Ideal which is about an hour from me - they give them to you in the exact same box they would have been shipped in, I wouldn't fuss over them during the ride home, just have things set up at home just as if they were to have come in the mail.

If you're worried about them getting chilled, a hand warmer will last through the duration of the trip.
