I have two Buff Orpingtons I have raised from 5 weeks. Since I'm in an area where roosters are not allowed, I have one burning question? Are they girls?

They are now 4 months old and haven't done any crowing or laying. I would appreciate some opinions from people who have experience with Buff Orpingtons. Thanks in advance!

Don't you just love Buff Orps? Those are hens for sure. I have a couple of BO roos and they have massive wattles and combs.

Oh, and 18 weeks is a pretty typical time to start laying
