Ah, bugger. I figured you'd all say that. I just hoped Omelet was an early puberty girl.
S/he has developed the irridescent feathering in tail and hackles (that's the back of the neck, right?) in the last week also, which was adding to my worries.
If the legs are suspect, then my other two are in trouble also - I've been studying intently and they all have legs of about the same length and thickness. They all feathered in at the same rate (maybe a bit slower for the EE). Omelet is showing some dominant behaviors too. Crap. I can't have a rooster in the city. I'll wait till I hear a crow to be sure, but if she's a he, he'll need a new home.
