Today is monday and I got my Silkie Chicks on Saturday from a store that orders them from online on Ideal Chicken I think. I did ALOT of research of before purchasing them and they are all doing just fine right now. They are staying in a pretty big sized wooden box crate with pine bedding, chick feed (non-medicated), chick waterer (ACV), perch, and a web camera. I live in Texas where its warm so they don't need a heat lamp anymore and it stays warm in there brooder out side in the garage . They are a little over 2 weeks.I have 2 whites, a black one and a partridge silkie. There names are ''Lucy & Macy'' the white ones, ''Star'' the black one, and ''Bob'' for the partridge. His name is bob because he looks simaler to a ''Bob White Quail". Any advice from past silkie owners???? Thankyou! Also, can you tell me if they look to be healthy??? i am keeping a day by day journal with pictures also, thats a fun proect to do in my free time.
