Pics!! My girls are growing up! We're getting Eggs!

Oh, I am so jealous!!! That is awesome that so many of your girls are laying now. I have the weeks marked on my calander to keep track of their ages. I simply am so excited now. Mine are twenty weeks tomorrow.

Your kitty-cat and doggie are very cute, also. Kitty looks like there is no lack of confidence there, and doggie looks sweet and faithful. That said, you have a beautiful assortment of birds. I have Americanas, EE's, 3 Black Sumatras, 3 leghorns, all laying (or supposed to be. LOL) and have some babies coming on that are about a month old--6 SLW's, 2 black sex-links, a RIR, a Black Australorp, and 2 Cinnamon Queens. But I don't think I will have your color variety yet. Good luck with all your "kids".

You are right-on, with the kitty kat peaches. When I walk by she's always up there waiting for the right opportunity to jump onto my shoulder and "hang" out with me while I walk around and do stuff. As I type right now, she's on my shoulder and I didnt invite her! She stalks me I swear!

Rosco is my shadow literally. Wherever I Am, he is! - we adopted him from Noah's Shelter - a no kill shelter. He was the only dog that wasn't jumping 5 foot in the air when we walked in their kennel area. Which was the first plus since we do foster care! He tolerates just about anything - including babies laying on him and sloberring. He'll just look at me begging for mercy.

Thanks on the chickies! When I went to the feed store I tried to get 1-2 of everything they had. When it was all said and done I noticed it was still the orange/red/black variety. Ah well! I did have Salmon Favorelles and Ameracauans, but 1 ended up being a rooster, 1 ended up wtih severe crooked beak and was put down, and 2 ended up being rehomed becuae they got injured and the flock wouldnt let them back when they got better. I was so sad to see them go, because they were the ones with the unique colorings!

funny cat!!! we had a kitten that showed up in our barn one day, really young, she'd climb our leg and all the way up to ride on our shoulders when we were cleaning our horse stalls. The 4-H kids named her pocket kitty cause of this. P.K. for short.
