Oh, I love the pics!!!! The coop is GREAT!! Most of all I love the precious grandkids, you must build them a playhouse now. ha ha Wish mine were still small! Your BR looks like my Dominiques. I am going to try and turn them loose for their first "free range" today!

LOL!! Gotta laugh at the boys' shirts. One pointing to the other saying "he did it", the other boy sitting there looking like what his shirt says...Look sweet & innocent. LOL!!

Nice looking chickens!

That is funny I didn't realize that when I took that pic, good thing they sat the way they did, lol And the middle ones shirt says, "I Only Look Sweet and Innocent, which is sooo true. He has another that says he would trade sister for new puppy and he did one day, Had to talk him out of it.

Ozark Hen, She may be a Dominique, I have some other BR's but they are whiter looking???? This is just the bigger ones there is about twenty more that I haven't gotten very good pics of, lol

I am not saying she is a Dominique only that she looks like my Dominique. LOL I have no idea what a barred rock looks like so please, believe me, I am not criticizing. I will put a pic up to show you how what the dominque looks like.

Please do I would be interested in knowing, the smaller BR's that I have are whiter looking than her, I don't put much faith in the feed store's guessing, lol My mom seen her and she said she was Dom, so could be, wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

here is one of my Dominiques, now mind you I am just going by what the Cackle Hatchery told me when I picked them out at the hatchery. So maybe mine aren't Dominiques? Or they look a like? Don't know.
Here is one of my girls:

thanks spotted crow, I went to the cacklehatchery.com site and looked at both. Now I see what you mean. I am wondering when they get that spike? I see mine have more of the coloring pattern like the dominiques but the combs of the barred rock right now. Like I said they are only ten weeks old. I guess I will have to wait until they are full grown to see which they really are?
