    Very pretty silkies! I just love my silkies, they are really sweet birds, and calm too.

    They're so beautiful!

    I've been thinking about convincing my parents that we need some Silkies, but how do they do in a flock with heavy breeds? (RIRs, Columbian Wyandottes, Aruacanas, etc.) Would they need their own coop and run?

    Hi....I've been wondering the same thing myself. I have definitely seen pictures where people had them in with other large, standard breeds, however, all my other breeds are still chicks, in various stages, so I've never had anything in with my Silkies.
