Ady just happened to be standing like that...their stature and size are identical

"Look! A worm!....oh wait...thats a shoelace..." You can see her a bit closer up...

The Metzer Farms pic does not really do the breed justice as she is very beautiful and has at least 5 colors on her....is it possible Golden 300's are part Saxony? She has the eyestripe for it....especially before she molted..

Makes me wonder what the males look like, in the pictures she looks mostly like a rouen.

I hear they're good egg layers. If I was just after eggs, I'd get them!

They are both beautiful! I got 10 ducks from Metzer last Spring, but I didn't think to get a Golden 3oo. They look like two very lucky ducks!

I read somewhere that they are part Khaki Campbell. They kind of resemble one, and they have the egg laying abilities, so maybe that's it.

About the same as the other common Duck breeds (i.e. Rouen, Buff, Swedish, Cayuga, etc.). At the moment I would estimeate they are both about 5 1/2 - 6 pounds.

Well thank you for the pics! I now know what the duck I have is! I had gotten some duck eggs from a local man and I didn't know what the one was. She looks exactly like your Golden!! She hasn't started to lay yet. Very pretty girl!
