Pics of chicks from BantyChickMom's eggs!!!

Here are pics of the chicks I hatched from BantyChickMom's eggs. There are 2 Jersey Giants and 4 Silver Penciled Cochin Bantams. 6 out of the 9 eggs BantyChickMom sent me hatched, which is a 67% hatch rate; an excellent hatch rate for shipped eggs!

2 of the 4 SPCB look a little damp because I just took them out of the hatcher before the pic (they hatched yesterday). Sorry about the pics not being the best, but my camera settings were messed up and I didn't realize it until after I put the chicks back into the brooder.

All these newly hatched chicks, really makes me want to hatch some again, I haven't for 5 years. And since my chickens are getting up there in age..................

Actually Michelle, didn't you say 1 was not fertile?

That would make it 6 out of 8 for a hatch rate of 75%!
