Buff should be SOLID, no black or white in the tail or neck area.
When someone says brown, they may refer to the fact that Seramas can indeed have true chocolate coloring, which influences the rest of the color. I've seen some Seramas that are a big mix, chocolate included, such as Chocolate Gold Duckwing w/Columbian.
