Thanks for the offer, but I'm in WV. I had called a lady a couple weeks ago about hatching eggs from the standard blue cochins. Someone had told me she had a pair. But I never heard back, so thought she didn't have any. But her husband called last night and said I could have some. He said there was also a large yellow hen in with the BC's and he didn't know which eggs were which, so I'd have to take both.But I would think you could tell by the size of the egg unless the yellow hen is a BC/BC cross. Are the BC's eggs not smaller than other standard breed hens????

yes a might smaller then a standard eggs but now I have finding quite larger eggs from my year old cochins,
