He got to looking at birds online and thought they were beautiful! I said let me get through our first batch of chickens and see if I can raise them without killing them...then we'll check out the pheasants! I know nothing about them...what do you do with them? Are they just for show, or are they hardy enough for free ranging? Do you eat the eggs? Personally, I am hoping he gets over this or forgets about it before my chickens are grown. At this time I do not plan on hatching my own eggs or anything, just raise what I have and eat their eggs. They are my "green" bug control method.
